Slow going

Slow week as of Friday morning I weighed 270 even which unfortunately means I gained a 1/2 pound. I have been eating great but just not finding much time for working out. Hopefully I will be able to next week - Joe

2nd weigh in

Yo Yo here it is. Today is the second weigh and the first money week. This morning I weighed in and I was 269.5 yeah baby what now! I have lost 6 pounds in the first week. I started at 275.5 and thats means a % of 2.18% so I like that. I only exercised twice. But that just proves that its about the food you eat. I followed the P90X food plan pretty strict and never over ate at all this week no sugar and only one serving of carbs a day. So thats that- I'll let you know the money I made and no I won't share it- out/ Jdogg

The number

Game time has started and I am on my way. Speaking of way, I mean weigh, weigh in day was Friday 2/26 and my number was 275.5. As you can see I said was, I have already lost about 2 pounds. So progress is being made. I'll keep you posted.

Almost a year ago

Almost a year ago I wrote my first post. And all thats happened is my gaining of poundage. In the last year I have gained about 25 big ones, I lost my job, started a new one, and in Nov. my wife had our daughter! So much has happened and life just keeps getting busier. So now I have another chance. I am joining a weightloss challenge. My wife has inspired me and one of my coworkers has joined also. Its a $2 a week buy in and I am looking forward to making some money. I don't like losing so I think this competition will help me lose the weight and stay accountable. Some of my friends are involved and I don't want to lose to them. So it lasts until May (10 weeks) and my goal is to kill it and lose 50 lbs. I will keep you updated as I go along. My plan is to stick with cardio from P90X and Kempo X and just lose straight fat and then begin weight training at the end. Root for me - joe

Why?

I have always been interested in sports and fitness all my life. I am not in great shape but have started to head in that direction. The name for this blog came from a business idea I had while at business school for a local gym in my area for average people to come and get in shape and to learn how to live a healthy life. FHAT stands for fitness, health, and training. Yesterday, 3/10/09 I really started exercising again. I am using the p90x fitness guide which I was gifted on my birthday last year. I think this time its for real. I started the blog to track my progress and eventually help others reach their goals too. It's a long roe to hoe but it can be done if you start NOW!
